Maintenance
Vortech supercharging systems feature a
heavy-duty engine oil lubrication system
ensuring a fresh supply of oil to the
supercharger bearings and gears. This ensures
maximum durability with virtually no
maintenance. In fact, when you change your
engine oil, you change the supercharger oil.
Owning a Vortech supercharging system is as easy
as following factory maintenance schedules and
running premium unleaded fuel.

RADIX Supercharger System:
The supercharger has been spun around 180°, to
better utilize the stock air path. The genius of
this design is it keeps a straight airflow path
into the supercharger inlet, which reduces
friction and pumping losses. This all-new
intercooled supercharger system utilizes the
Magnuson MP112 supercharger with internal bypass
valve. Power increases are expected to be around
100 HP and 100 ft-lbs of torque at the rear
wheels, depending on the presence of aftermarket
products and engine condition.
Intercooled systems are complete with all
components necessary for installation. Included
in the kit is a cast aluminum intake manifold
(replacing the factory nylon manifold),
intercooler core, coolant circulation pump, heat
exchanger and all necessary hardware to complete
the entire installation. This system does not
require any hood modifications.

Entire system fits under the hood without
cutting any body panels and can be installed
using common hand tools. System comes complete
with all necessary brackets, connectors,
hardware and fuel system components including
fuel line disconnect tools. Computer programmer
communicates with factory ECU for proper
calibration of supercharger system. Transmission
shift points, line pressures and converter
strategies are optimized for use with the
increase in torque and horsepower.

Radix systems are available in a Stardust Silver
powdercoat or polished finish.

of experience in aerospace, commercial, and automotive
manufacturing / engineering. We have the expertise in
material selection, manufacturing, casting techniques,
and machining methods, coating, plating, and assembly to
produce the highest quality cost-effective supercharger
available.
High Performance Systems manufactures every
component the same high standards as Mercedes Benz.
All components are cast from high-grade aluminum alloy
or stainless steel and machined with the state of the
art tooling use CNC Machining Centers. Our fasteners are
made of high-grade materials for an OEM appearance.
Components such as hoses, belts, and idler pulleys are
manufactured by leading suppliers in the Mercedes field.
High Performance Systems have teamed with the Eaton
Corporation and Magnuson Products, to offer a highly
technical and efficient supercharger system. The Eaton
supercharger is the virtually unanimous choice of all
original equipment manufacturers. The Eaton compressor
is used on the SLK, C – Class and the Jaguar R series
engines. Jerry Magnuson, the exclusive distributor of
the Eaton supercharger brings over 35 years of
supercharging experience to these ventures. Magnuson’s
R&D team combines more than 60 years of system designing
experience with state – of – the – art engineering with
computer aided design and fabrication CNC Machining
technology. This in turn has developed one of the most
durable and efficient supercharger systems in the
